Special concerns related to high speed static control

The forces of static electricity are beneficial for many applications i.e. Bonding film to package prior to heat sealing - edge and/or web pinning at chill cylinder - bonding of protective covering to metal or wood. Many applications using DC ion production of either positive (+) or negative (-) ions to accomplish a bonding process are available. 

Using both polarities are also very effective in tackling the most challenging static problems on high speed and or highly charged webs. The combination of the power supply and the static bar technology allows ElectroStatics to offer a system that combines the ability to control high charge, on a web moving at high speed, at a greater distance from the web.
